This is a secret I normally don’t share, but my fave LA sushi spot (or as my 4 year old niece calls it: shushi) is Hirozen!

It’s a little hole in the wall, located inside a strip mall between a cleaners and a light store, but its phenomenal! It's also 1 block from my home and we go so often the chef knows us and our favorite items, so that helps.

But really, I think it's one of the few places that offer such amazing variety.
The chef told me he goes to the market every morning so the sushi selection is always fresh and new.

They also serve chawanmushi which is a little bowl of Japanese egg custard goodness.

In early Summer, theres a white salmon that’s absolutely UH-MAZING and I cannot wait for it!
